Which J.S. STEEL product suits which buyer?
J.S. STEEL sells six lines from one yard in Ukharala (Mamsa GIDC), Ghogha, Bhavnagar, all from Alang ship-recycling lots. Circle cutters, tool makers and fabricators buy MS Profile Plates: ex-ship plate sorted by thickness. Re-rolling mills making TMT bars, round bars and flats buy MS Rolling Material in the 2×5 kg and 5×10 kg grades. Engineering units that need blanks buy gas-cut MS Circles, 100–1200 mm in diameter and 6–100 mm thick.
MS casting foundries buy MS Profile Melting Scrap: dense plate skeletons with no paint. Induction furnaces making ingots and billets buy MS Attachment Scrap, which may carry paint. Crane-hire and rigging firms, material handlers and marine-spares traders buy Used Ship-Store Items, including used ship wire rope, all sold as-is.
Separately, under Alloy Steel, refinery, power plant, boiler and pressure vessel fabricators buy alloy steel clad plate: P22 chrome-moly plate with SS 410 cladding. Under CI Scrap, foundries making grey or SG iron parts buy CI scrap: cast iron machinery castings.
