Questions buyers ask

What is attachment scrap?

It is the sorted MS melting scrap left from a ship-recycling lot after plates and profile-cutting material are taken out. Induction-furnace units melt it for ingots and billets.

Is your attachment scrap the same as HMS?

We sell it as our own grade, not to an HMS 1 or HMS 2 specification. We send photos of the exact load so you can compare it with what you use now.

Is the scrap galvanised? Do you guarantee chemistry?

It is MS (mild steel) and not galvanised. It is scrap from ship-recycling lots, so we do not guarantee chemistry for every lot. Judge each load from the photos we send before loading.

How much do I need to order?

Attachment scrap is sold by the full truck load. Tell us how many trucks you need and where to deliver, and we will confirm today's rate.
